GW Racing Team
Students from George Washington Community High School participating for the first time in the Purdue Electric Car Program as part of their STEM education. The 15 students began learning engineering and technical skills, project management skills, sales, marketing, fabrication, team-work and outreach in their community all while building their final project, an electric go-kart that they raced at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 17 and 18, 2016.
The West Indianapolis Community Fund (WICF) was established because we believe the best way to improve our neighborhood is working together on projects we develop and finance here in our community. WICF was pleased to provide a $1,500 grant to this program
